Dr. Vivek Choudhry is an academician and belongs to the family of educationist and social worker. He is Founder Trustee of K.V.P.G. College, Meerut-India which is affiliated to Choudhry Charan Singh University, Meerut -India. His mother Smt. Rita Choudhry belongs to well-known family of freedom fighters and Estate of Asaura. They Joined freedom movement and gave away everything for the freedom of Country.
Mrs. Choudhry’s grandfather Ch. Raghubir Narayan Singh was a freedom- fighter. Ch. Singh weighed Mahatma Gandhi in Silver/Gold three times when he visited him at Asaura House. He also donated 10 acres of land and building in the heart of Meerut and a blank cheque to Mahatma Gandhi to Start Gandhi Ashram Movement from Meerut. Because of him Congress held its first Congress Session after Independence in 1947 at Meerut when he was made Chairman of the Committee.
Key Achievements
- Vivek Choudhry, after completing his graduation from famous and reputed Hans Raj College, Delhi University established a flexible packaging unit, Stock Paper Products and were pioneers in introducing gift packs for biscuits/chocolates for first time in India and also established the IIPPT Foundation.
- Dr Vivek Choudhry joined his late father Dr. Narendra Choudhry who has been an academician and was D.Litt., in their pursuit of globalization of education. They developed good relations with the Chancellor of Troy University , Alabama – Dr. Jack Hawkins & Pittsburg University ,Kansas and helped more than 800 students during last twenty years to guiding admission in these Universities. They further developed several Twinning /Collaborative program between these US Universities and Indian Colleges/Universities enabling Middle class students Technical Education more affordable. Now these students studied 50 % of their degree in India and complete their degree in US with 40 % scholarship.
- Also as the Vice President of ESRDS France having 28 world renowned Jury Members are awarding Honorary Doctorates/PhDs degrees on the basis of Work Experiences. ESRDS, France has given responsibility to Dr. Choudhry as Sorbon India Head and Chairman of Sorbon International Convocation Committee.
- Vivek Choudhry is also a serial enterprenuer and have established few of the ventures which are running successfully all over.
- Vivek Choudhry was awarded Past : Dy. R.G.M., by Worlds Oldest NGO more than three hundred years old Regional Grand Lodge of Northern India doing Charitable Services like they are running Masonic charitable dispensaries for under privilege Special people all over India.
- Vivek was cabinet secretary of Lions International district 321 C1 (2017-18) serving people from Noida to Mussoorie in Several Charitable Projects like Eye Hospitals, Schools, blood bank, etc.,
- Vivek Choudry also a frequent traveler to Dubai where he is instrumental in guiding and mentoring the habitants of Dubai for higher education and facilitating honours with PhDs and Honorary Doctorates. He has many a friend in Dubai who are well established into their own fields.
