Amit is a seasoned Technology and Cybersecurity risk professional with over 22 years of experience in the utilities, information technology, banking, and financial services industries throughout Asia Pacific.

He delivers a unique combination of deep business expertise and a strong relationship-based engagement approach that brings business and technology together while ensuring risk is detected, prioritised, and mitigated quickly and efficiently.

With very little awareness and exposure at the board and executive levels, Amit brings a straightforward, pragmatic, collaborative approach to representing cybersecurity at all levels of the organisation, earning him recognition as a leader who leads bottom up by understanding issues at the grassroots while also managing and communicating at the top.

Amit is originally from Uttar Pradesh, India, and now lives in Sydney with his wife and children. He is a person of great integrity, enthusiasm, and devotion to making a difference in the areas he chooses to pursue, and if given the opportunity, he will go to any length to complete the task.

Amit is a Certified Cyber Professional (CP) with CRISC, ITIL, and ISO27001 Auditor qualifications from the Australian Computer Society (ACS). A member of many Executive Advisory Boards, NSW Chair for the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), National Cybersecurity Advisor for Australia India Business Council (AIBC), Cyber Ambassador for Investment NSW, and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
